WHEREAS, Mm. L. L. Knight has served for a period of <br />six years on the Portsmouth City Council, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this service demanded a great deal of time and effort <br />of the part of Mr. L. L. Knight, in addition to his attendance at <br />regular Council meetings, and . ~ <br /> <br /> WHerEAS, many worthwhile projects for the entire City were <br />accomplished by the Council during these years of unselfish service <br />by ~. L. L. Knight, <br /> <br /> TH~REFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the CoUncil of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, in session assembled on this 25 day of June, I968, <br />that the valuable contribution to the progress of the City made by <br />Mr. L. L. Knight thrbugh his years of service on the City Council <br />be acknowledge with sincere gratitude, and <br /> <br /> BE iT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution by <br />presented to Mr. L. L. Knight, and that it be made a part of the <br />permanent records of the City Council. <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
