A RESOLUTION G~ ~fING A USE P~T FOR THECO~T- STRUCTION ~2~ OPEW~ION OF A SE~R LI~FT STATIO-~ UP-69-12. ~5-~REAS, Merrifields Water Cor,~p. arj~ Inc. has made s~ application pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zor~ing Ordir~nce of the City of Portsmouth, 1961, for the ~anting of a use pe~t as hereinafter described~ and ~r~REAS~ the applic8~at ~ the Pls_~2aing Director and the City Mmnag- er have done all things required to be dons in connection with said ~pplica- tion, ~nd the Ptar~ng Co~mission has reco~eu~.ed the grar~ting of said use perr~t, subjec~ to the conditions hereinafter stated. NOW, TF~RE~ ORE~ BE IT RESOL%~ by the Cou~ncil of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia; ~nat the use for which the use per~J~t hereinafter described is sought (1) will not adversel~ affect the health or safety of persons residLng or work- lng in the neighborhood of the proposed use~ (2) will not be detrimental vo the public welfare or injurious ~o property or i~provemmnts in the neig~hborhood, and (3) will be iu accord ~th the p~u~poses of said Zoning Ordinance. ~aat Merrifields Water Company, Lnc. is hereby granted a use permit, subjec% ~o site plea re- strictions, pursuauat ~o Section ~.-2 of said Zoning Ordinance, for the consvruction and operation of a sewer lift s~ation located the property described as follows: Beginning 120.36 feet northeast from the north- east cor~er of ~-ai~ls~oa aild ~' ~ o~-~r~_ set Drives (two ~roposed streets in Merrifieids Subdivision, Section 5); thence no~n~a~ along S~.Tmerse~ Drive 50 fe~, thence southeast 35 feet; thence southwes~ 50 feet~ vnence northwest 3~ feet ~o the point of origin.
