A RESOUJTION GR~T~,YG A USE ~IT FOR 5~ CON~C- TION OF ~ ADDITION Ah~ THE OPERATION THEREOF FOR A hY~RSING HOME ON W~STMOPW~2~D AVENUE. UP-69-~. WH]~REAS, the Emily Green Home For the Aged b~s made an appli- cation pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter des- cribed; ar~ WHEREAS, the applicant, the Ptar~ Director and the City Manager have done all things required to be done in connection with said application, and the Planni~ Con~ssiOn has recommended the granting of said use permit, subject to the conditions hereinafter stated. NOW, ~HE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Cotunci! of the City of Port amouth, Virgin~ a; Ae That the use for which the use permit hereina~ter described is sought (1) will not adversely affect the health or safety of persons residing or work- ~g in the neighborhood of the propose5 use, (2) will not be detrLmental to the public welfare or injurious to property or improvements in the neighborhood, and (3) will be in accord with the purposes of said Zor~ing Ordir~qnce.
