RESOLUTION APPOI~T~NG VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING <br />OF A PORTION OF COVE T~qRACE. <br /> <br /> WHERK&S, Robert Jennings and J.H.P. Seawell have made appli- <br />cation to vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of Cove <br />Terrace, located on the north side of Greer~,ood Drive, amd it appear- <br />lng that notice of the application sand request for the appointment of <br />viewers was duly posted on Nova~ber 12, 1969, on the bulletin board <br />of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and at two public <br />places in the City, to-~[t: the intersection of Cove Street and <br />Greenwood Drive and the intersection of Raven Street and Greer~ood <br />Drive; <br /> <br /> N~ff, ~H~qEFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Cou_ncil of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that H. T. F!em~ng, Clifford H. Montney~ William <br />T. Blalock, Wilson Rowe and Graydon McGinley be appointed viewers to <br />view the hereinafter described portion of said street and report to <br />this Council in writing whether in their opinion amy, and if any, what <br />inconvenience would result frmm vacating and closing the follov~ing <br />portion of Cove Terrace: <br /> <br /> Beginning at the point where the North side of Green- <br /> wood Drive is intersected by Cove Terrace (formerly <br /> Second Street) and thence running North along Cove <br /> Terrace, a stree~ twenty feet in ~[dth, a distmnce <br /> of 227 feet, more or less, to its terminus at the <br /> southerly property line of the U. S.
