58 <br /> <br />A RESOLb~ION GRANTING A USE PE~ FOR THE OPERATION <br />OF AN Ab%X~4OTIVE SERVICE STATION AT Th~ N0~qEP~ <br />CORNER .OF VICTORY BOULEVARD ANDG~OOD~ DR1-VE. <br /> <br /> ~, Mobll Oil Corporation has made au application pursuant <br />to Section ~-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City Of Portsmouth, 1961, for <br />the granting of a use permit as hereinai%er described; and <br /> <br /> · WHEEEAS, the applicant and the P~lan~] ~ng Director have-done, all <br />t~hings required to be done in connection ~ith said ~Pplication, and the <br />Planm_ing Cammmsszon has recon~mended the ~nting of said use permit, sub- <br />Ject to the conditions hereinafter stated. <br /> <br /> .NOg, THEF~EFORE, BE iT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> A. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter described <br />is sought (1) will not adversely affect the health or safety of persons <br />residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use, (2) will not <br />be detrimental to the public Welfare or injurioUS to property or improve- <br />ments in the neighborhood, and (B) will be in acco~d with the purposes of <br />said Zooi~g Ordin~ce. ,' <br /> <br /> ' B. That the Mobil Oil Corporation is hereby granted a use per- <br /> mit, subject to site plan restrictions, pursuant to Section 4-2 of said <br />/Zoning Ordinance, for the operation of an automotiv8 service station lo- <br /> cated on the prepercy described as follows: <br /> <br /> Beginning at a point at the northern intersection <br />of Victory Boulevard s~ud Greenwood Drive; thence run- <br />ning northwest along the northerly right o~. way line <br />of Victory Boulevard a distance of 175 fe~et, more or <br />less, to a' point; thence ,running northeast ~ dis2s_uce <br />of 150 feet, more or less, to a POint; thence rumuing <br />southeast a distance of 175 feet, more or less, to a <br />point on the westerly right of wak¥ line of Greenwood <br />Drive; thence rurming sonthweet along said westerly <br />right of way line of Greenwood Drive a distance of <br />150 feet, more or less, to the point of begimning. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the Ci~ty of Portsmouth, Virginia, at a <br />meeting held July 28, 1970. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
