P~SOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGREEMENT WITH THE <br />SEABOARD C~AST LINE ~AILROAD CONCERNING THE ~INTENANCE OF A <br />DRAINAGE PIPE IN THE CHURCHLAND AREA. <br /> <br /> Be it resolved by the City Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, in regular meeting assembled that the <br />Cit~ Manager of said City be, and he hereby is, authorized to <br />enter into an agreement with~the .SEABOARD COAST LINE RAILROAD <br />COMPANY and the CITY OF Chesapeake, VIRGINIA, and to sign same <br />on behalf of said City of Portsmouth, whereby an agreement dated <br />August 16, 1965, between the former Atlantic Coast Line Railroad <br />Company, now Seaboard Coast Line Railroad Company, and the City' <br />Qf Chesapeake covering a drainage pipe line crossing at Chesa- <br />peake (now Portsmouth), Virginia, is assigned to the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, dqe to annexation: as more particularly <br />set'forth in said agreement, which agreement is dated March 6, <br />1970, a ~opy of which agreement is filed with this City Council. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held on October 13r 1970. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
