A RESOLUTION COP~NDING MICHAEL A. KORB, JR. <br />FOR HIS SERVICES TO THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Michael A. Korb, Jr. will resign as City <br />Attorney for the City of Portsmouth at the end of this month, <br />after having served as such for over nine years; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said Michael A. Korb, Jr. has been a <br />devoted and loyal public servant; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this service demanded a great deal of time <br />and effort on the part of Michael A. Korb, Jr. in addition to <br />his regular duties as City Attorney; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, many worthwhile projacts for the entire City <br />were accomplished by the City during these years of unselfish <br />service by Michael A. Korb, Jr. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, ~n session assembled on this 21st <br />day of December, 1971, that the valuable contribution to the <br />progress of the City made by Michael A. Korb, Jr. through his <br />years of service as City Attorney be acknowledged with sincere <br />gratitude; and <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this resolution <br />be presented to Michael A. Korb, Jr. as a token of the esteem <br />in which he ~s held by the people of this City, and that it be <br />made a part of the permanent records of the City Council. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held December 21, 1971. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
