Y~SOLUTION APPO~ING VIEW, ERS FOR CLOSING A <br />PORTION OF COLUMBIA STREET. <br /> <br /> V~mREAS, Le~is Chevrolet Corporation bas rode application <br />to vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain <br />street s~nd it appearing that notice of the application and request <br />for the appointment of viewer~ was .duly posted on December 9, 1971, <br />on the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of Ports- <br />mouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Cotur~ of the City of <br />Portsmouth, and on the bulletin board of the Municipal Court of the <br />City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Louis J. Leitner, <br />L. A. Clark, Zalmon I. Blachman and F. J. Bargeron, be appointed <br />viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such street <br />and report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion, any, <br />and if ~ny, what inconvenience would result from vacating and closing <br />the following: <br /> <br />That portion of Columbia Street which is botunded <br />on the West by the Western right-of-way line of <br />Columbia Street (formerly Eighth Avenue) and the <br />Eastern boundary line of Lot 33 as show~ on the <br />Plat of Property of John J. Phillips, recorded in <br />the Clerk's Office of the Court of Hustings for <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia; in Map Book 2, <br />psge 41; and bounded on the East by the Eastern <br />boundary line of Lot 71, as shown on said plat, <br />if extended from its Southeastern terror South <br />33° 30' East to the Southern right-of-way line <br />of Columbia Street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />a~ a meeting held December 21, 1971. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
