RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, APPROVING THE RE- <br />DEVELOPMENT PLAN AS AMENDED BY AMENDMENT <br />NO. 1, OLDE TOWNE CONSERVATION PROJECT, VA <br />R-49 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, by resolution adopted May 14, 1968, the <br />Coun6il of the City of Portsmouth approved a Redevelopment <br />Plan for the Olde Towne Conservation Project, designated as <br />Project VA R-49; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Section F of said Plan, <br />it so provides that said Redevelopment Plan may be amended by <br />the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority with the <br />consent of the City Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority in undertaking the execution of Project No. VA R-49 <br />has found it necessary to make minor changes to said Redevelop- <br />ment Plan; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing <br />Authority has approved the changes to the Redevelopment Plan <br />by resolution which Plan dated October 12, 1971, together <br />with said resolution has been referred to City Council for <br />review and approval and the City Council has duly considered <br />said Redevelopment Plan; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA: <br /> <br /> 1. That said Redevelopment Plan, as amended, dated <br />October, 1971, for the Project aforementioned, having been <br />duly reviewed and considered is hereby approved. <br /> <br /> 2. That the City Clerk be and is hereby directed to <br />file said copy of Redevelopment Plan with the minutes of this <br />meeting. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia~ at a meeting held October 26, 1971. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
