A RESOLUTION GP~NTING A USE PEr,lIT FOR THE <br />OPERATION OF A AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE STATION <br />AT THE SOUTHEAST INTERSECTION OF PORTSMOUTH <br />BOULEVARD ~2~D WOODSTOCK STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Southern Fuel Distributors, Inc., has made <br />application pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of <br />the City of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit <br />as hereinafter described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have <br />done all things required to be done in connection with said ap- <br />plication, and the Planning Commission has recommended the grant- <br />lng of said use permit, subject to the conditions hereinafter <br />stated. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br /> A. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter <br />described is sought (1) will no~ adversely affect the health or <br />safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the <br />proposed use, (2) will not be detrimental to the public welfare <br />or in3urious to property or improvements in the neighborhood, <br />and (3) will be in accord with the purposes of said Zoning <br />Ordinance. <br /> <br /> Bo That Southern Fuel Distributors, Inc. is hereby <br />granted a use permit subject to site plan restrictions, pursuant <br />to Section 4-2 of said Zoning Ordinance for the operation of <br />an Aumotive Service Station located on the property described <br />as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the southeast corner of Ports- <br />mouth Boulevard and Woodstock Street; thence <br />east along Portsmouth Boulevard approximately <br />110 feet to Montclair Avenue; thence south <br />along Montctair Avenue approximately 155 feet <br />to an alley; thence west along said alley approx- <br />imately 110 feet to Woodstock street; thence <br />north along said street approximately 145 feet <br />to Portsmouth Boulevard, the point of beginning. <br /> <br /> C. That such use permit is granted subject to the <br />following conditions: <br /> <br />(t) <br /> <br />This Use Permit must be framed under glass <br />and kept on public display at all times when <br />the station is open for business, to allow <br /> <br /> <br />
