A RESOLUTION GP~NTING A USE PEr,lIT FOR THE OPERATION OF A AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE STATION AT THE SOUTHEAST INTERSECTION OF PORTSMOUTH BOULEVARD ~2~D WOODSTOCK STREET. WHEREAS, Southern Fuel Distributors, Inc., has made application pursuant to Section 4-2 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of a use permit as hereinafter described; and WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to be done in connection with said ap- plication, and the Planning Commission has recommended the grant- lng of said use permit, subject to the conditions hereinafter stated. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: A. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter described is sought (1) will no~ adversely affect the health or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use, (2) will not be detrimental to the public welfare or in3urious to property or improvements in the neighborhood, and (3) will be in accord with the purposes of said Zoning Ordinance. Bo That Southern Fuel Distributors, Inc. is hereby granted a use permit subject to site plan restrictions, pursuant to Section 4-2 of said Zoning Ordinance for the operation of an Aumotive Service Station located on the property described as follows: Beginning at the southeast corner of Ports- mouth Boulevard and Woodstock Street; thence east along Portsmouth Boulevard approximately 110 feet to Montclair Avenue; thence south along Montctair Avenue approximately 155 feet to an alley; thence west along said alley approx- imately 110 feet to Woodstock street; thence north along said street approximately 145 feet to Portsmouth Boulevard, the point of beginning. C. That such use permit is granted subject to the following conditions: (t) This Use Permit must be framed under glass and kept on public display at all times when the station is open for business, to allow
