RESOLUTION GUARANTEEING FAITHFUL PERFORMANCE OF THE CONTRACT <br />TO CONSTRUCT A STORM DRAIN INTO THE DRAINAGE DITCH FOR THE <br />1-264 EASTBOUND OFF-RAMP TO FREDERICK BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth plans to contract <br />to construct thirty-one feet of 15" R.C.P. storm drain p~pe <br />with a R.C.P. flared end section from the northern r~ght- <br />of-way of Trexler Avenue into the drainage ditch for the <br />1-264 eastbound off-ramp to Frederick Boulevard which ditch <br />to be paved for a distance of twenty-five feet; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, all work will be in accordance with the <br />applicable State and Federal Regulations as shown on sheet <br />4 of the contract plans; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, that the City of Portsmouth <br />guarantees faithful performance of the above mentioned work <br />an accordance with the rules and regulations ef the State <br />Highway Commission of Virginia and ~n compliance with the <br />terms of the permit issued by the Virginia Department of <br />Highways. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held February 8, 1972. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
