28 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TEE CITY ~NAGER TO ADVERTISE A~ <br />RECEIVE BIDS FOR CITY O~ED PROPERTY. <br /> <br /> WP~REAS, the Planning Commission of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, on January 4, 1972 unanimously re- <br />solved to recommend disposal of a parcel of City owned <br />property located on the north side of Glasgow Street be- <br />tween Potomac and Vermont Avenues, known as lots 10 and <br />11 on the plat of the West Port Norfolk Land Company, re- <br />corded in Map Book 6, page 85 in the Clerk's Office of the <br />Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has no need for <br />the land. <br /> <br /> NOW, TI{EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager <br />be and he hereby is authorized to advertise and receive <br />bids for the hereinabove described property, further de- <br />scribed on the tax records of the City as Plate 352, Parcel <br />22.1 with dimensions of approximately thirty-six feet by <br />one hundred eight feet. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 13, 1972. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
