65 A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING PROJECT PURSUANT TO SECTION 3~26 OF THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SUCH PRO- .AND DESIGNATED AS GHP---~-2I W~EREAS ~ S~,~At Lntei~rises of V~gir~a Bee~ch and its agent~ P~%s~ ~r~ Folkes ~ have made ap- plication pursuant to Section 3-26 of the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Portsmouth, 1961, for the granting of approval for a group housing project known as .~f©tt~ at Steri~ Point ~EREAS~ the application for same has been determined by the Plan,_in~' ~ Commission to have met the requirements_ of said Section 3-26~ and WHEREAS~ the Planning Commission has reviewed such ap- plication a.~a ~._e site plan summ_tted therewith and has reco~end- ed approval of said application; and WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that approval of a group housing project pursuant to said Section 3-26 grants only an exemption from certain dimensional requirements for residences as stated in the appropriate section of Article 5 and does not constitute a waiver of any other requirements em- bodied in the Subdivision Or~inance~ the Zoning Ordinance, the Code of the City of Portsmouth and any other applicable state or federal laws; and ?~P~AS~ the developer is aware that building permits and/or any other required peri, its will be issued only upon com- pliance with ordinances or laws apDiicab!e thereto. - ~ ~ ~ IT NOW£ THERefORe., BE RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginias that that certain group housing project known as NorthamPton at SterlT~]~Point and ~esignated as GHP- ;{~--~i and more specifically shown on a plat entitled "~t~t.~:~m~Ste~ ~': dated ~_~10~se~ !97~ ~ prepared by ~sse!l & Fo~kes , and attached hereto and ma~e a part hereof~--~s hereby granted approval.
