62 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SELL CITY-OWNED <br />PROPERTY, GRANT CERTAIN EAS~4ENTS OF ACCESS, LIGHT OR AIR, <br />AND GRANT TEMPORARY CONSTRUCTION EASEMENTS TO THE COMMONWEALTH <br />OF VIRGINIA, DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS, FOR THE CRAWFORD CONNECTOR <br />DESIGNATED AS PROJECT UO00-124-101, R/W201. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth is participating in <br />the Crawford Connector designated as Project UOOO-124-101, R/W <br />201; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth desires to sell certain <br />parcels of property, grant certain easements of access, light or <br />air, and grant temporary construction easements to the Common- <br />wealth of Virginia, Department of Highways, for the Crawford <br />Connector designated as Project UOOO-124-101,R/W201; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has no need for the <br /> <br />land. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he <br />hereby is authorized to execute a deed to sell said land and <br />grant easements to the Commonwealth of Virginia, Department of <br />Highways, as shown on the plats entitled, "Sheet 8 and 9 Of The <br />Plans For State Highway Project UOOO-124-101,R/W201", dated <br />February 10, 1970, and prepared by the Virginia Department of <br />Highways, a copy of the prepared deed and plats are attached <br />hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir~ <br />g inia at a meeting held October 24, 1972. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
