59 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF WIL- <br />LIAMSBURG AVENUE LOCATED BETWEEN NORTH STREET AND LONDON <br />BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Elks Lodge No. 82 and the Am- <br />bassador Club of Portsmouth have made application to vacate <br />and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain street <br />and it appearing that notice of the application and request for <br />the appointment of viewers was duly posted on June 14, 1973, on <br />the bulletin board of the Court of Hustings for the City of <br />Portsmouth, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the <br />City of Portsmouth, and'on the bulletin board of the Municipal <br />Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by 'the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, James V. <br />McGehee, Raymond Tweed, Zalmon I. Blachman and James L. Choate, <br />be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion <br />of such street and report to this Council in writing whether <br />in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenience would re- <br />sult from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of land <br />lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, and comprising that portion of <br />Williamsburg Avenue (formerly Second Ave- <br />nue) located between the southern right of <br />way line of North Street and the northern <br />right of way line of London Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held June 26, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
