58 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF HAWKINS <br />STREET BETWEEN COLUMBIA STREET AND SOUTH STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />has made application.to vacate and close the hereinafter describ- <br />ed portion of a certain street and it appearing that notice of <br />the application and request for the appointment of viewers was <br />duly posted June 12, 1973, on the bulletin board of the Court <br />of Hustings for the City o£ Portsmouth, on the bulletin board <br />of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and on the bulletin <br />board of the Municipal Court, Civil Division, of the City of Ports- <br />mouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, James V. <br />McGehee, Raymond Tweed, Zalmon I. Blachman and James L. Choate, <br />be appointed viewers to view th~ hereinafter described portion <br />of such street and report to this Council in writing whether <br />in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenience would <br />result from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of land <br />lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, and comprising that portion of Hawkins <br />Street located between the southern right of way <br />line of Columbia Street and the northern right <br />of way line of South Street, excluding that por- <br />tion which is part of Crawford Street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held June 26, 1973~ <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
