A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE AND <br />RECEIVE BIDS FOR CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY (BLAIR STREET). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth currently owns a <br />parcel of land located at the southeast corner of Hatton and <br />Blair Streets within the boundaries of said City, the dimen- <br />sions of said parcel being approximately 87 feet by 121 feet; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said property may be further identi- <br />fied by making reference to Tax Map 26 in the Office of the <br />City Assessor, Portsmouth, Virginia, on which map the said <br />land appears as Parcel 9; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the said land is no longer needed for the <br />public use of the City of Portsmouth and it ~s, therefore, <br />declared to be surplus property. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br /> City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he <br /> hereby is, authorized to advertise and receive bids for the <br /> hereinabove described property on such terms and subject to <br /> such minimum bid restrictions as he may deem proper. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, at a meeting held March 19, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
