A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE AND <br />RECEIVE BIDS FOR CERTAIN C~TY-O~~ED PROPERTY (JEFFERSON STREET <br />LOT). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ the City of Portsmouth currently owns a <br />parcel of land located on the south side of Jefferson Street <br />opposite Camden Avenue; and <br /> WHEREAS, the said parcel is more fully identified as <br />Lot No. t in Block 38~ as sho~n on the plan of Brighton, record- <br />ed in the Office of the Clerk of the Circuit Court of the City <br />of Chesapeake~ Virginia, ~n Map Book 21, at page 34; and <br /> WHEREAS~ the City of Portsmouth has no further need <br /> for said parce!~ and it is~ therefore~ surplus property, and <br /> has been so declared by the Planning Commission. <br /> NOW~ Tt~REFORE~ BE iT RESOLVED~ by the Council of <br /> the City of Portsmouth~ Virginia~ that the City Manager be, <br /> and he hereby is~ authorized to advertise and receive bids <br /> for the hereinabove described property on such terms and sub- <br /> ject to such minim~ bid restrictions as he may deem proper. <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, <br /> Virginia, at a meeting held October ~ 1973. <br /> Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
