NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that it hereby expresses its <br />strong opposition to any change in the "regulations for the <br />control and abatement of air pollution," which would allow or <br />require pre-construction review by the State Air Pollution <br />Control Board of local projects. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that it directs the City Clerk to forward <br />a copy of this resolution to each member of the State Air Pollu- <br />tion Control Board, to the Executive Director thereof, and to <br />the Director of Region VI. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held July 24, 1973. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br />-2- <br /> <br /> <br />
