RESOLUTION APPOiNTiNG VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OP MiLiTARY ROAD NORTR OK VICTORY BOULEVARZ. WHEREAS~ KBN~ inc. has made application ~o vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of a cervain street and iv appearing that notice of the application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted May 72 !974~ on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth~ and in two other public places in said City. NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Porvsmouth~ Virginia, that Frank N. Biiisoiy: James V. HcGehee, Louis J. Leitner: R. ivine Smith and James L. Choate, be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion oS such svrees and reeort to this Council in writing whether ia their opinion~ any, and if any~ what inconvenience would ~esu!t from vacating and closing the following: All that certain piece or parcel of land lying and being in the City of Portsmouth, Vir- ginia~ and comprising that porticn of Military Road located north of Military Road and more particularly described as follows: ~eginning at the southwest intersection of Victory Boulevard and Military Road} thence northwesterly along the southerly line of Mil- itary Road north 4!° ~3:O0'? east 128.17 feet~ thence north 48° 17' 27~' east 30 feet~ more or less, to the northerly line of Military Road~ thence south ~!° 43~ 00" easy along the northerly line of Military Road to the northwest in~er- section of Victory Boulevard and Military Road; and thence north 85° ~5~ 00" wes~ across Mil- itary Road ~o.ths point of beginning} it being the porvion of Military Road contiguous with Parcel 18 on Plate 487 on vhe Tax Maps of the Citp of Portsmouth.
