Hn OPEP~ATION OF A AND RELATED FAC!LIrz~S ON ~I~-~ S~REET AT WILLETT WU~-EREAS~ Maryview Hospital has made apDiication pursuant.~.~ _ to Section 40-67 of the Code of the City of Ports- mouan~ !973, for the grantin~ of a use pe~t as hereinafter described; and - WHE~AS~ the applicant and the Planning Director have done all things required to he done in connection with said application, and the Planning Commission has recom/~end- ed that said use permit be granted. i~OW, T-~R~OR~, BE iT FmEoO~VED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia: A. That the use for which the use permit hereinafter described is sought (t) will not adversely affect the health or safety of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of the proposed use, (2) will not be detrimental to-the public wel- fare or injurious to property or improvements in the neigb~or- hood, and (3) will be in accord with the purposes of said Zoning Ordinance. - B. That Maryview Hospital is hereby granted a use permit pursuant to Section 40-67 of the Portsmouth City Code ~or the operation of a hospital and related facilities located on the property described as follows: ginia, at Beginning at the northeast corner of Witlett Drive and High Street; thence northerly ap- proximately 435 feet along the east side of Willett Drive to the south right of way line of West Road; thence easter!v along said right of way approximately 735 fee% to a point~ thence ea'sterly approximately 47~ feet to the western right of way line of the Seaboard Coast Line Raj!road; thence southerly along said right of way approxL~ately 335 feet to a pomnt; thence westerly approximately 210 feet; thence southerly approximately 185 feet to the northern right of way line of High Street; thence westerly approximately 970 feet to the point of origin~ Adopted by the Council of the City of P0rtsmouth~ Vit- a meeting held April 23~ 1974.
