REsoLUTION-'~PPOINTING~ VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A SI~C-('6) FOOT STRIP ' <br /> OF SIXTH STREET BETWEEN MADISON STREET AND PORTSMOUTH BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />has made application to vacate and close the hereinafter describ- <br />ed portion of a certain street and it appearing that notice-of <br />the application and request for the appointment of viewers was <br />duly posted February 1, 1974, on the two bulletin boards of <br />the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and on.the bulletin <br />board of the General District Court (Civil Division), of the <br />City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank 1~. Bilisoty, James V. <br />McGehee, Belvin W. Btachman, Zalmon I. Blachman and R. ~ <br />Smith , be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described <br />portion of such street and report to this Council in %rriting <br />whether in their opinion, any, and-if any, what inconvenience <br />would result from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />6th Street - A 6 foot strip adjacent to the <br />western right of way line of 6th Street from <br />the southern right of way line of Madison Street <br />to the northern right of way line of Portsmouth <br />Boulevard. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held February 12, 1974. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
