7O <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION URGING THE APPROVAL OF RECO~3~[ENDATIONS A~[ENDING <br />THE VIRGINIA AREA DEVELOPMENT ACT. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Virginia Area Development Act Sub- <br />committee has requested local governments to review and <br />recommend additlons or deletions of proposed ~mendments to <br />the Virginia Area Development Act; and <br /> <br /> WHER~'~AS, the City Manager and his staff has re- <br />viewed such proposed amendments. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth; Virginia~ that it approves the re- <br />commendations of the proposed amendments to the Virginia <br />Area Development.Act. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is <br />directed to file a copy of %his resolution with the Division <br />of Legislative Services: P. O.
