5O <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING ViET/~RS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF MIDDLE <br />STREET BET~EN COUNTY STREET ON THE NORTH AND COLU~4HIA STREET <br />ON THE SOUTH. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Au- <br />thority has made application to vacate and close the herein- <br />after described portion of a certain street and it appearing <br />that notice of the application and request for the'appointment <br />of viewers was duly posted on ~ay 1, 1975 on the bulletin board <br />of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, City Hall Build- <br />ing, and the General District Court, Civil Division of the City <br />of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Biliso!y, Zalmon <br />Blachman, C. L. Robinson, Robert Reid and Charlie Hudgins be <br />appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of <br />such street and report to this Council in writing whether in <br />their opinion any, and if any~ what inconvenience would result <br />from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> BEGINNING at a point marked by a P~K. Nail <br />in walk in the South right of way line of <br />County Street 87~ii'34'' W - 35~.21 feet from <br />the southwest intersection o£ right of ways <br />of County and Crawford Streets~ thence along <br />west line of property now or formerly of Ports- <br />moutk Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />S 3°3~'37~ E - 225.51 feet to a chiseled cross; <br />thence along the north right of way line of <br />Columbia Street S 87~14'28" W - 59~0 feet to <br />an iron pin; thence along east line of property <br />now or formerly of Portsmouth Redevelopment and <br />Housing Authority N 3°32~08" W - 225o~7 feet to <br />a P.Ko Nail in walk~ thence along the south <br />right of way line of County Street N 87:!1~3~:: <br />E 38~85 feet to the P.E~ Nail in ~alk at the <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br /> The hereinabove describe~ parcel represents <br />the portion of Middle Street between County <br />Street on the north and Columbia Street on the <br />south, contains 13~2~9 square feet~ more or <br />!ess~ ~n~ is sho~ on a plat entitled ~'Ports- <br />mouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority - <br />Urban ~enewal Cra~for~ Renewal Pro~ect %~ <br />R-53- Plat Showing Portion of Middl~ Street <br />to be Closed - City of Portsmoutk~ Virginia~ <br /> <br /> <br />
