25 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF RODMAN <br />AVENUE BETWEEN HIGH STREET AND THE NORTH SIDE OF THE SEABOARD <br />COAST LINE RAILROAD RIGHT-OF-WAY. .~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, J. B. McCready, A. C. Boatwright and M. G. <br />Whitehurst have made application to vacate and close the here- <br />inafter described portion of a certain street, and it appear- <br />ing that notice of the application and request for the appoint- <br />ment of viewers was duly posted on the bulletin board of the <br />Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and in two other <br />public places at least 10 days prior to April 8, 1975. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Joseph C. <br />Barber, Belvin W. Blacb. man, Zalmon I. Blachman and James L. <br />Choate, be appointed viewers to view the hereinafter described <br />portion of such street and report to this Council in writing, <br />whether in their opinion, any, and-if any, what inconvenience <br />would result from vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> All that certain piece or parcel of land, <br /> situate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br /> being a part of Rodman Avenue, as shown on <br /> the plat of'Virginia Realty and Investment <br /> Company, duly recorded in the Clerk's Office <br /> of the Circuit Cour= of the City of Chesa- <br /> peake, Virginia. in Map Book 7, at pages <br /> 98, 99 and 100 and plat of "Waterview", duly <br /> recorded in the aforesaid Clerk's Office in <br /> Map Book 17, at pages 58 and 59; said strip <br /> of land adjoins the southern side of High <br /> Street and runs back between parallel lines <br /> to the north side of the right-of-way of the <br /> Seaboard Coast Line Railroad. <br /> <br /> A~opted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />giniav at a meeting held April 8, 1975. <br /> <br />Test e: <br /> <br />City Clemk <br /> <br /> <br />
