92 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUT!iORiZING THE CITY ?~ANAGER TO LEASE <br />ON LONDON BOULEVARD AND PENINSULA AVENUE OWNED BY <br />REDEVELOPSIENT AND [lOUSING AUT[iORITY. <br /> <br />PROPERTY <br />PORTSHOUT!i <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth desires to lease <br />certain property in the immediate vicinity of Frank Lawrence <br />Stadium for use as parking lots and for related uses; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redeveloonent and Housing <br />Authority owns three oarcets of orooertv on London Soulevard <br />and Peninsula Avenue zn the immediate vicinity of Frank <br />Lawrence Stadium; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said parcels are comoosed of vacant lots <br />suitable for use as parking lots; <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager is <br />authorized to enter inrp an agreen~ent e{ lease with Portsmouth <br />Redevelo7ment and Housing Authority for ti~e lease of <br />certain lots, pieces or parcels of vacant lan& situated in <br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, known as *'Reuse Parcels <br />10, 11, and 12, Northside Redeveiopmenr Project, VAR-SS" <br />as identified on the attached nlat prepared by Harland <br />Bartholomew and Associates for Northside Redeve!opmenr <br />Project VAR-S9.
