51 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING A PLANNED USE REPORT FOR GENERAL REV~UE <br />SEARING FUNDS FOR ENTITLEMENT PERIOD VI! (JULY 1, 1976 TO DEC- <br />EMBER 31, 1976) AND DIRECTING CERTAIN ACTIONS BE TAKEN WiTH <br />REGARD TO SAID ~PORT. <br /> <br /> WEEREAS, Federal regulations require that a Planned <br />Use Report detailing the expenditures of general revenue <br />sharing funds be submitted to the Secretary of the Department <br />of the Treasury; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, such a Planned Use Report has been drafted <br />and is attached hereto; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said Planned Use Report for Entitlement <br />Period VII designates the following expenditures: <br /> <br />Operating/Maintenance <br /> Expenditures <br /> <br />Public Safety .... $890,000.00 <br />Recreation ....... 39,340.00 <br />Total ............ $929,340.00 <br /> <br />Capital Expenditures <br /> <br />Libraries <br />Recreation ........ <br />Social Development. <br />Multi-purpose and <br /> General Government <br />Other-Curb, Gutter, <br /> Drainage and <br /> Street Improve- <br /> ments <br />Total <br /> <br />......... $ 5,918.O0 <br /> 120,000.00 <br /> t2,600.OO <br /> <br />75,000.00 <br /> <br />............ 393,000.00 <br />............. $60~,5t8.~0 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Federal regulations further sspecify that the <br />City Manager certify that no entitlement funds have been used in <br />violation of the prohibition against the use of entitlement funds <br />for the purpose of obtaining matching Federal Funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Federal regulations further specify that a <br />public hearing be held with regard to the use of said general <br />revenue sharing funds; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by a joint ~eeting <br />of Citizens Advisory Committee and the City Planning Commission <br />on February 3, 1976, pertaining to use of funds from Entitlement <br />VII; and <br /> <br /> WHEP~AS, Federal regulations further specify that a <br />copy of each said Planned Use Report be advertised in a news- <br /> <br /> <br />
