110 A RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE FOR THE ACQUISITION OF CERTAIN PROPERTY BY THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH, VIRGINIA, UNDER EMINENT DO~WLAiN PRO- CEEDINGS PURSUANT TO CHAPTER 471 OF THE ACTS OFASS~V~BLY,~ AS AMENDED, SAID PROPERTY BEING NECESSARY FOR THE CONSTRUCTION, ALTERATION AND MAtNTENA~CE OF DEEP CREEK BOULEVARD. WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has found it nec- -essary to acquire interests hereinafter Specified in and to the hereinafter described parcel of land situate in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, for the purpose of constructing, altering and maintaining Deep Creek Boulevard. ~ ~r~H~REAS' the City °f P°rtsmouth has not been able · r-~r~n~ c_~ ~e~z~ g~ ~ tn°o~ Deen c s s h? pro- able o en etO agree upon price to be paid therefor; and WHEREAS, advancement of the work and use of. the said project will be delayed Unreasonably if said property is not made available as Soon as possible. NOW, THEREFORE, BE tT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of POrtsmouth, Virginia: 1.
