51 A RESOLUTION APPOLNTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLIOWIA~ S~: PORT/ON OF MIDDLE S93REET BE~I~{EEN THE NORTHERN RIGHT' OF ~ LINE OF COUNY% STREET AND ~HE NO~ RIGHT OF ~I~¥ OF KII~ STREET. A WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application to vacate and close the hereinafter described portion of a certain street, and it appearing that notice of application and request for the appoJ_ntment of viewers was duly posted May 9, 1977 on the bulletin boards of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsn~uth, the bulletin board of the City Hall BuildJ_n~g of the City of Portsmouth and the bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the Ci~v of ?ortsmouhh. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Ports- mouth, Virginia that, Frank N. Bilisoly, A. N. Kendrick, Linon Vann, C. E. Ellis ~nd H. L. Davis be appointed viewers and _Raymond T~eed be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fails to participate. Said viewers to view the heremnafter described portion of such street and to report to this Council in ~riting whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: Beginning at the north right of way line of County Street where it intersects with the east right of way line of Middle Street; thence north along the eas~ right of way line of ~iiddle Sf_~eet to its ~ntersection with the north right of way line of King Street; thence west 60 feet to the west right of way line of Middle Street; thence south~ along said right of way of Middle Street to its intersection with the north right of way line of County Street; thence east 60 feet to the Point Of Origin.
