A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING CONSENT OF THE COUNCIL TO THE VACATION
<br />OF THAT CERTAIN SUBDIVISION PLAT ENTITLED "PLAT SHOWING SURVEY
<br />OF DISPOSITION PARCELS 72 AND 73, FOR MOUNT HERMON CONSER-
<br />VATION AND REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT VA. R-69, PORTSMOUTH~ VIRGINIA",
<br />DATED FEBRUARY 26, 1976, MADE BY BALDWIN AND GREGG, LTD.,
<br />ENGINEERS, SURVEYORS AND PLANNERS, PURSUANT TO SECTION 15.1-481~
<br />CODE OF VIRGINIA, 1950, AS AMENDED~

<br /> WHEREAS, that certain Subdivision Pla% entitled,
<br />"Plat Showing Survey of Disposition Parcels 72 and 73, For
<br />Mount Hermon ConServation and Redevelopment Project Va. R-69~
<br />Portsmouth, Virginia," dated February 26, 1976, made by
<br />Baldwin and Gregg, Ltd°, Engineers, Surveyors and Planners,
<br />was approved by the City of Portsmouth and recorded by Ports-
<br />mouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority in the Clerk's
<br />Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, Vir-
<br />ginia, in Map Book 9, page 87; and
<br />
<br /> WHEREAS, no lots described on the aforesaid plat
<br />have been sold.
<br />
<br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of
<br />the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the Council hereby
<br />expresses its consent to the vacation~of that certain Sub-.
<br />division Plat entitled, "Plat Showing Survey of Disposition
<br />Parcels 72 and 73, For Mount Hermon Conservation and
<br />development Project Va. R-69~ Portsmouth, Virginia," dated
<br />February 26, 1976, made by Baldwin and Gregg, Ltd., Engineers,
<br />Surveyors and Planners, pursuant to Section 15.1-481, Code
<br />of Virglnia, 1950, as amended.
<br />
<br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and
<br />he hereby is, authorized to sign a written instrument declaring
<br />the aforesaid plat to be vacated.
<br />
<br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth,
<br />Virginiat at a meeting held January 11, 1977.
