¸7O <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING <br />STREETS: PARCEL I, A PORTION OF HILL AVENUE - PARCEL II, <br />A PORTION OF SOUTHERN AVENUE - PARCEL III, A PORTION OF <br />CAROLINA AVENUE - PARCEL IVt A PORTION OF PINNERS AVENUE <br />PARCEL V~ A PORTION OF SEABOARD AVENUE - PARCEL VI, A <br />PORTION OF PAGE STREET - PARCEL VII, A PORTION OF SERPELL <br />STREET - PARCEL VIII, A PORTION OF SPENCER STREET - PARCEL <br />IX, A PORTION OF HARPER'S ROAD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application <br />to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described <br />portion of certain streets, and it appearing that Notice of <br />Application and request for the Appointment of Viewers was <br />duly posted September 8, 1978 on the bulletin board of the <br />City Hall Building of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin <br />board of the General District-Court, Civil Division, of the <br />City of Portsmouth and the bulletin board of the Circuit <br />Court of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth~ Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, A. N. <br />Kendrickr Colonel Henry Po Crowe, James H. Griffin, and Linon <br />Vann be appointed viewers and Zalmon I. Blactuman be appointed <br />an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceding <br />viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the <br />hereinafter described portion of such streets and to report <br />to the Council in writing whether in their 0~inion any~ <br />and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating <br />and closing the following: <br /> <br />PARCEL I <br /> <br /> Hill Avenue between Wesley Street and <br />Seaboard Avenue. <br /> <br />PARCEL II <br /> <br />Southern Avenue west of Kill Avenue <br /> <br />PARCEL III <br /> <br /> Carolina Avenue between Industrial <br />Avenue and Spencer Street. <br /> <br />PARCEL IV <br /> <br /> Pinners Avenue between Industrial <br />Avenue and Spencer Street. <br /> <br /> <br />
