A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE CITY OF PORTSMOUTH MENTAL HEALTH <br />AND MENTAL RETARDATION SERVICES BOARD'S PROGRA~! FOR SERVICES <br />AND FACILITIES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1978-79, SUBJECT TO CERTAIN <br />LIMITATIONS. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 37.1-197, Code of Virginia, 1950, as <br />a~ended, requires every Community Mental Health and Mental <br />Retardation Services Board to have approved its plan and <br />budget by the governing body of the political subdivision <br />of which it is an agency; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is necessary that this Council approve and <br />endorse such a program for the City of Portsmouth; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this Council has reviewed such a program and <br />finds it well adapted to the~City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, TF~P~FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that it does hereby approve and en- <br />dorse the Portsmouth Mental Health and Mental Retardation <br />Services Board's Program for services and facilities for <br />fiscal year 1978-79, subject t~ modification in funding as <br />approved in the 1978-79 operating budget for mental health. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is authorized <br />and directed to prepare a certified copy of this resolution <br />to be submitted to the appropriate state agencies. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, at a meeting held June 13, 1978. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
