79 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING: <br />A PORTION OF LOUISA TERRACE AND NOTTOWAY AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Herbert E. Rogerson has made application to <br />vacated close and discontinue the hereinafter described <br />portions of certain streets, and it appearing that notice <br />of application and request for the appointment of viewers <br />was duly posted October 10, 1978, on the bulletin board of <br />the General District Court, Civil Division, of the City of <br />Portsmouth~ the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the <br />City of Portsmouth, and the bulletin board of the City Hall <br />of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, C. E. <br />Ellis, H. L~ Davis~ A. N~ Kendrick~ Jaraes A. Linehan, be <br />appointed viewers and L. A. Clark be appointed an alternate <br />viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fail to <br />participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described <br />portions of such streets and to report to this Council in <br />writing~ whether in their opinion any~ and if any, what in- <br />convenience would result in vacating and closing the follow- <br />ing: <br /> <br />LOUISA TERRACE <br /> <br /> Beginning at the southeast corner of <br />Louisa Avenue and Louisa Terrace; ~ence <br />east along the south right-of-way line of <br />Louisa Terrace approximately 385 feet to <br />the right-of-way line of property of the <br />Seaboard Coast Line Railroad; thence north- <br />easterly along said right-of-way approxi-~ <br />mately 160 feet to the north right-of-way <br />line of Louisa Terrace; thence west along <br />said right-of-way approximately 520 feet <br />to the east right-of-way line of Louisa <br />Avenue; thence south 100 feet to the south <br />right-of-way line of Louisa Terrace, ~he <br />point of beginning. <br /> <br />NOTTO~AY AVEAU3E <br /> <br /> Beginning at the northeast corner of <br />Louisa Terrace and NottowaM Avenue; thence <br />north along the east right-of-way of Nottoway <br />Avenue 135 feet; thence west 60 feet to the <br />west right-of-way line of Nottoway Avenue; <br />thence south along said right-of-way 127 feet <br />to the north right-of-way line of Louisa Terrace; <br />thence east along said right-of~way 60 feet to <br />the point of origin. <br /> <br /> <br />
