79 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING: A PORTION OF LOUISA TERRACE AND NOTTOWAY AVENUE. WHEREAS, Herbert E. Rogerson has made application to vacated close and discontinue the hereinafter described portions of certain streets, and it appearing that notice of application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted October 10, 1978, on the bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth~ the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and the bulletin board of the City Hall of the City of Portsmouth. NOW, THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, C. E. Ellis, H. L~ Davis~ A. N~ Kendrick~ Jaraes A. Linehan, be appointed viewers and L. A. Clark be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fail to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described portions of such streets and to report to this Council in writing~ whether in their opinion any~ and if any, what in- convenience would result in vacating and closing the follow- ing: LOUISA TERRACE Beginning at the southeast corner of Louisa Avenue and Louisa Terrace; ~ence east along the south right-of-way line of Louisa Terrace approximately 385 feet to the right-of-way line of property of the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad; thence north- easterly along said right-of-way approxi-~ mately 160 feet to the north right-of-way line of Louisa Terrace; thence west along said right-of-way approximately 520 feet to the east right-of-way line of Louisa Avenue; thence south 100 feet to the south right-of-way line of Louisa Terrace, ~he point of beginning. NOTTO~AY AVEAU3E Beginning at the northeast corner of Louisa Terrace and NottowaM Avenue; thence north along the east right-of-way of Nottoway Avenue 135 feet; thence west 60 feet to the west right-of-way line of Nottoway Avenue; thence south along said right-of-way 127 feet to the north right-of-way line of Louisa Terrace; thence east along said right-of~way 60 feet to the point of origin.
