75 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE AND <br />RECEIVE BIDS FOR CERTAIN CITY-OWNED PROPERTY (70 MORRIS <br />STREET). <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth presently owns a parcel <br />of property located on Morris Street~ more particularly <br />described as follows: <br /> <br /> All that certain lot~ piece or parcel <br /> of land~ situate, lying and being in the <br /> City of Portsmouth~ Virginia, known, nu/v~ered <br /> and designated as Lot 9~ Block 5.0 on the <br /> entitled, "Map Of Cradock~ Norfolk County, <br /> Virginia, Property Of U. S~ Housing Corporation, <br /> Washingtons D. C., Plated In 8 Parts, dated <br /> December 31~ 1919"f recorded in the Clerk's <br /> Office of the Circuit Court of the City of <br /> Chesapeake, Virginia, in Map Book 17, Pages <br /> 93-1OO~ both inclusive. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said land is no longer needed by the City of Ports- <br />mouth and it is~ therefore, deciAred to be surplus property. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Co~cil of the City <br /> of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby <br /> is, authorized to advertise and receive bids for the hereinabove <br /> described property on such terms and subject to such minimumbi~ <br /> restrictions as he may deem proper. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia~ <br /> at a meeting held October 10, 1978. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />/ City C le~rk <br /> <br /> <br />
