WHEREAS, the Portsmouth Redevelopment And Housing Authority has made application to vacate~ close and discontinue the hereinafter described portion of certain streets, and it appearing that Notice of Application and request for the Appointment of Viewers was duly posted January 11, 1978 on the bulletin board of the G~ueral District Court, civil Division, of the City of Poz~csmouth ~/ the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Po~uth~ NOW, THEREFORE, ~E IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Ports- mouth~ Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, H. L. Davis, C. E. Ellis, Linon Var~n, A. N..Kendrick and L. A. Clerk be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fail to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter described portion of such streets and to report to this Council <in writing %fnether in theJ_r opinion any, a~ if any, what inconvenience would result ~n vacating and closing the following: All that certain piece or parcel of land, ly/rg and being in the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, and comprising that portion of Nelson Street lying between Sevent~. Street and Washington Street.
