71 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF FAIRFAX AVENUE~ ~4EREAS, Harry L. Clifford and Linda Clifford have made application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter described portion of Fairfax Avenue, and it appearing that notice of application and request for the appointment of vmewers was duly posted on August 3, 1979 on the bulletin board of the City Hall Building of the City of P©rtsmouth, the bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth and the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth notice of application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on August 3, 1979. NOW, T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, Henry ~ Crowe~-Reverend~ Jz R~ Wilkerso~ Belvin W- Blachman an~ A. N. Kendrick be appoint~ viewe~s~ and ~that James ~os~ be .-aDpolnted an alternate vlewe~ mn the event one o~ the Dre- ~din~'~i~er~ fai~ 'tO ~&~i~ipa{e, s~i~ ~ie~&rs to ~YeW ~ the hereinafter-described portion of such street and to report to this Council in writing, whether mn their opinion and, and if any, what inconvenience would ~esu!t in vacating and closing of the following steet: FAIRPAX AVENUE Ail that certain part of Fairfax A~enue as shown on the plat of Virginia Realty Investment Company lying between the south line of South Street and the north line of Bart Street, which is also that part of Fairfax Avenue adjacent to Lots 1 and 2 in Block 45 on the west and adjacent to Lots 23 and 24 in Block 44 on the east as shown on said plat.
