62 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF THE FOLLOWING <br />STREET: A PORTION OF FIFTH STREET. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Industrial Development Authority of the City <br />of Portsmouth has made application to vacate, close and dis- <br />continue a portion of Fifth Street, hereinafte~ described, and <br />it appearing %hat notice of application and request for the <br />appointment of viewers was duly posted on July 12, 1979, on <br />%he bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, <br />General District Court of the City of Portsmouth and the Juvenile <br />and Domestic Relations Court of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by %he Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisolyr George.Newton Powers, <br />St., Reverend Clarence Robinson, Reverend Warren Page, and Howard <br />L. Davis be appointed viewers and that Reverend H. G. Hairston <br />be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the pre- <br />ceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers to view the <br />hereinafter-described portions of such street and %o report <br />to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and <br />if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing <br />of the following Street: <br /> <br />FIFTH STREET <br /> <br /> Ail that portion of Fifth Street being <br />situate and lying between the north right-of-way <br />line of Harrison Street and the Southern <br />right-of-way line of the Seaboard Coast Line <br />Railroad.
