4 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING: A PORTION OF AN UNNAMED ALLEY. WKEREAS, the Cradock Property Owners Association has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter- described portion of a certain unnamed alley, and it appearing that No%ice of App!ication and request for the appointment 6f viewers was duly posted November 30, 1978, on the bulletin~~ board of the General District Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and the bulletin board of City Hall of the City of Portsmouth. NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia/"that Frank N. Bilisoly, H. L. Davis, Simon P. Arrington, A. N. Kendrick and Harrison Miller be appointed viewers and Rev. J. R. Wilkerson be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fail to participate, said viewers to view ~he hereinafter- described portion of such unnamed alley and to report to ~his Council in"writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following: UNNAMED ALLEY Beginning on the west side of Decatur Street approximately 70 feet south from its intersection ~ith Channing Avenue; thence '' west approximately 115 feet to a point; ~hence soutk approximately 280 feet to a point; '"thence east approximately 20 feet; thence 'north approximately 270 feet; thence east approximately 95 feet to the west right-of- way line of Decatur Street; thence north~ along said right-of-way approximately 15 feet to the point of origin. Also, beginning on the west side of mately 15 feet; thence eas~ approRimately 245 feet to the west right-of-way line of Decatur Street; thence'south along said right- oE-%~ay ~pproximately 15 feet to the point of origin.
