A RESOLUTION APPOINTING <br />PORTION OF WEST NORFOLK <br /> <br /> 25 <br /> <br />VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING: <br />ROAD~ <br /> <br />A <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Associated Naval Architects, Inc. and Virginia <br />Chemicals, Inc. have made application to vacate, close and <br />discontinue the hereinafter-described portion of West Norfolk <br />Road, and it appearing that Notice of Application and request <br />for the appointment of viewers was duly posted March 8, 1979 <br />on the bulletin board of the General District Court, Civil <br />Division, of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin board of <br />the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and the bulletin <br />board of City Hall of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOWr THEREFOREr BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, L. A. <br />Clark, A. N. Kendrick, Charles Hudgins and James Griffin be <br />appointed viewers and R. Irvine Smith be appointed an alter- <br />nate viewer in the event one of the preceding viewers fail <br />to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter-described <br />portion of such road and to report to this Council in writing <br />whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience <br />would result in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />WEST NORFOLK ROAD <br /> <br /> That certain part of West Norfolk Road, <br />including raparian rights appurtenant thereto, <br />lying between the shoreline of the Western <br />Branch of the Elizabeth River and the extension <br />to the East of a southern right-of-way line of <br />Shipwright Street. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held March 27, 1979. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
