2 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIESfERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING: A <br />PORTION OF GIBBS ROAD BE~H'~EEN VICTORY BOULEVARD AND DAHLGREN <br />AVENUE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Estate of E. L. Boyce, Sr. has made appli- <br />cation to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter- <br />described portion of Gibbs Road between Victory Boulevard <br />and Dahlgren Avenue, and it appearing that Notice of Application <br />and request for the appointment of viewers wa~ duly <br />posted December 22, 1978, on the bulleti~ board of the <br />General District Court, Civil Division~ of the City of <br />P~rtsmouth, the bulletin board of the ~rcuit Court of the <br />City of Portsmouth, and the bulletin board of City Hall of <br />the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by th~ Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. Bilisoly, H. L= <br />Davis, Simon P. Arrington, A. N~ Kendrick and Harrison <br />Miller be appointed viewers and Rev. J. Ro Wilkerson be <br />appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the preceding <br />viewers fail to participate, said viewers to view the hereinafter- <br />described portion of such road and to report to this 'Council <br />in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what <br />inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the <br />following: <br /> <br />GIBBS ROAD <br /> <br /> Ail that certain piece or parcel of <br />land situate in the City of Portsmouth, <br />Virginia, being known as Gibbs Road, a paper <br />street, being 40 feet in width, and lying <br />between Victory Boulevard and Dahlgren <br />Avenue, a distance of approximately 213 feet, <br />more or less. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held January 9, 1979. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
