20 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING THE FOLLOWING: <br />PORTION OF AN-UNNAMED LANE. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Construction Associates has made application to <br />vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafterrdescribed portion <br />of an unnamed lane, and.it appearing that Notice of Application <br />and request for the appointment of'viewers was duly posted <br />February l, 1979 on the bulletin board of the General District <br />Court, Civil Division, of the City of Portsmouth, the bulletin <br />board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, and the <br />bulletin board of City Hall of the City of Portsmouth. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by th~ Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia, that Frank N. B~ili'soly, Linon Va~.n, <br />Ja~es Linehan, Richard Ottavlo, and Jame~-McGehee be appomnted <br />viewers and Robert Reed be appointed an alternate viewer in <br />the event one of the preceding viewers fail to participate, <br />said viewers to view the heremnafter-descrlbe portion of <br />such lane and to report to this Council in writing %~hether in <br />their opinion any, and if any, wh~t inoonvenlen'ce would result <br />in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br />UNNAMED LANE <br /> <br /> A certain unnaraed lane which is more <br />particularly described as beginning at a <br />point on the east side of Frederick Boul- <br />evard at the line of property formerly be- <br />longing to the City of Portsmouth, which <br />was conveyed by deed dated October 27, 1978 <br />unto Construction Associates, Inc.; thence <br />from said point of beginning running north <br />18° west 111.89' to the southern right-of- <br />wav of a certain unimproved street; thence <br />ru~ning north 57°O3' east 77.67' to a pin <br />which is in the western boundary line of a <br />property owned by Construction Associates, <br />Inc.; thence running south 18~ east 150', <br />more or less, to a point on the east side <br />of Frederick Boulevard; thence running north- <br />westwardly along the arc of curve to <br />left, said curve having a radius of 1OO4.93', <br />a distance of 50', more or less, to the said <br />-point of beginning; the said 20' lane being <br /> shown on ~he plat of North Truxton in line <br /> the east of Lots 319 and 320 as shown on said <br /> plat. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council Qf the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held February 27, 1979. <br /> <br />Teste: ' - <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
