<br /> WHEREAS, ~he Portsmouth Redevelopment knd Housing Authority has
<br />made at~plication to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-
<br />described portions of certain streets, and it appearing that notice of
<br />application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly pested
<br />on October 19, 1979, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court, City
<br />Hall Building, snd the C~neral District Court, Civil Division, of the
<br />City of Portsmouth.

<br /> NC~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
<br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, Charles R. Hugdins, Robert
<br />Reed, I{arrison _Miller, R. Irvine Smith, be appeinted viewers and ~hat
<br />james Moss be appointed an alternate viewer in the event one of the pre-
<br />ceeding viewers fail to participate, said vi~.~ers to view the herein-
<br />after described portions of such streets and to repor~ to ~his Council
<br />in writing whether in their opinion, any, and if any, what inconvenie=nce
<br />%~uld result from vacating and closing the following:
