92~ A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION OF WALDRON AVENUE. WHEREAS, Gladys D. Harvey~ Arthur J. Stewart, and Laura Stunnette, have made application to vacate, close and dis- continue the hereinafter-described portionof Waldron Avenue, and it appearing that notice of application and request for the appointment of viewers was duly posted on the 12th day of November, 1980, on the bulletin board of the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, General District Court (Civil Division) of the C±ty of Portsmouth, and Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court of the City of Portsmouth. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, Howard L. Davis, George Newton Powers, Sr., Clarence Robinson, and James Moss be appointed viewers and that J~es H. Griffin be appointed an alternate viewer in the event that one of the preceding viewers fails to participate,_ said viewers to view the hereinafter-described portion of such street and to report to this Council in writing whether in their opinion any, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating and closing the following street: WALDRON AVENUE Beginning at the southeast intersection of Waldron kvenue and Deep Creek ~6ulevard as shown on the plat of Virginia Place, record- ~d in Map Book 17, page 73, in the Clerk's Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Chesapeake, Virginia, and thence running..in an easterly direction along the southern side of Wa!dron Avenue approximately 420', which is the northeast corner of Lot 17 as shown on said plat; thence northerly 30' along the same line as if the eastern line of said Lot 17 had been extended in a northerlM direction to a point on the northern side of Waldron Avenue; thence in a wester!y direction along the northern side of Waldron Avenue to Deep Creek Boulevard; thence southerly 30' along the boundary of Deep Creek Boulevard to the Point of Beginning.
