67 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTIONAUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SIGN AN EASEMENT <br />AGREEMENT WITH VIRGINIA ELECTRIC AND POWER COMPANY FOR INSTALLATION <br />OF UNDERGROUND UTILITY SERVICES AT THE SLEEPY HOLE GOLF COURSE COMPLEX. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has requested Virginia Electric <br />and Power Company to install underground electric utility facilities <br />at the Sleepy Hole Golf Course Complex in Suffolk, Virginia; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in order to provide such electric Utility service to <br />the Sleepy Hole Golf Complex it is necessary that the City of Portsmouth <br />grant an easement over, under and across its property for the purpose <br />of said installation, operation and maintenance as more particularly <br />described on the attached right-of-way plat. <br /> <br /> NOW, T~EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of <br />Portsmouth, Virginia, that the City Manager be, and he hereby is, <br />authorized to sign an easement agreement with Virginia Electric and <br />Power Company for installation of underground utility service in the <br />Sleepy Hole Golf Complex. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, at <br />a meeting held August 25, 1981. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
