City Manager G. <br />June i9~ 1981 <br />Page 6 <br /> <br />(4) Dimensional Requirements. <br /> <br />The city eng~ineer may grant a single <br />cepti~n from the dimensional requirements <br />set out in this section if he deems such <br />exception is necessary to ~revent a de- <br />monstrable hardship upon the property <br />owner or is in the best interest of <br />public safety. If more t~an one ex- <br />ception is sought, the planning commission <br />~ust approve such exception.~ <br />the following minimal dimensional require- <br />~ents shall be observed: <br /> <br />No driveway shall exceed thi~£y-five <br />(35~ feet in width at the property <br />line, nor fifty (50) feet at the curb- <br />line. <br /> <br />No~d~veway, at the eurbline, shall <br />be located within fifteen (15) feet <br />o~ the property line~ of an intersecting <br />street, and in no ~ase nearer than five <br />(5) feet from the end of the curb <br />radius. <br /> <br />No d~iveway shall be located within <br />ten (~1 feet. at the curbline, from <br />the line of t~e adjacent property, <br />except in the Histori~ District where <br />there shall be no r~quired setba~ <br />~f driveways from adjacent property. <br /> <br />Where m~re'than one driveway is pro- <br />vided along a ~rontage in single owner- <br />s h~p, there must be a separation of <br />at least twenty (20~ feet at the curb- <br />line, and a six (6) inch raised pro- <br />tective curb parallel to the street <br />extending not less than two-thirds <br />(2/3) the length of the island shall <br />b~ placed inside the property line <br />between thc driveway. <br /> <br /> <br />
