Beginning at a point on the northern boundary of <br />Alabama Avenue in the center of the nor%hem edge of <br />its intersection with Hollywood Avenue and running from <br />said beginning point northwardly 4.6 feet to a <br />point, a corner; thence running in an easterly dir- <br />ection a line which is 4.6 feet north of the boundary <br />line of Alabama Avenue 246.8 feet to a point distant <br />30 feet from the northeast corner of Lot 9; %hence <br />continuing in a straight line 35.3 feet to the point <br />of intersection with the northern boundary of Alabama <br />Avenue, a corner; thence running westwardly along <br />the present boundary of Alabama Avenue to the point <br />of beginning, and being more particularly shown on a <br />sketch thereof, entitled "City of Suffolk, Part Plat - <br />Alabama Ave., Cypress Borough, Hollywood Subdivision" <br />hereto attached and made a part hereof, reference <br />thereto being hereby specifically made. <br /> <br /> It Being a part of the conveyance by deed from <br />Portsmouth, Berkley and Suffolk ~ater Co~rpany, a <br />corporation, to the City of Portsmouth, which deed <br />is dated December 30, 1918, and recorded in the Clerk's <br />Office of the Circuit Court of the City of Suffolk <br />(Nansemond) in Deed Book 90, at page 504. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be, and he <br />hereby is~ authorized to execute such documents as may be <br />necessary to complete this transaction. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held September 28, 1982. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
