A RESOLUTION GRANTING APPROVAL FOR A GROUP HOUSING PROJECT <br />PURSUANT TO SECTION 40-55 OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF PORTS- <br />MOUTH, VIRGINIA, 1973, AS AM]ENDED, SAID PROJECT BEING KNOWN <br />AS "CRAWFORD BAY AT OLDE TOWNE" AND DESIGNATED AS GHPL82-~. <br /> <br />72 <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, OldeTowne Trust has made application pursuant <br />to Section 40-55 of the Code of the City of Portsmouth, Vir- <br />ginia, 1973, as amended, for the granting and approval of <br />a group housing project known as "Crawford Bay At Olde Towne"; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the application has been determined by the <br />Planning Commission to have met requirements of §40-55, <br />Code of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, as amended; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has reviewed such appli- <br />cation and site plans submitted therewith and has reconumended <br />approval of said application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developer has been informed that approval <br />of the group housing ~roject pursuant to said Section 40-55 <br />grants only an exe~tlon from certain requirements for re- <br />sidences as stated in said section and does not constitute <br />a waiver of any other requirement embodied'in the Subdivision <br />Ordinance, Zoning Ordinance, the Code of the City of Portsmouth, <br />or any other applicable local, state or federal laws or re- <br />gulations; <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the developers are aware that building permits <br />or any other required permit will be issued only upon com- <br />pliance with the ordinances, laws or regulations applicable <br />thereto. ' <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that the certain group housing <br />project known as ,Crawford Bay At Olde Towne" and designated <br />as GHP-82-1, and more specifically shown on plans prepared <br />by Yates and Berkeley Associates, Ltd., Architects, dated <br />August 17, 1982, and designated as a revised proposal and <br />filed with the appropriate officials of the City of Portsmouth <br />and made a part hereof, is hereby granted approval. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held August 24, 1982. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
