1 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR CLOSING A PORTION OF <br />LONDON BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Portsmouth Redevelopment and Housing Authority <br />has made application to vacate, close and discontinue the <br />hereinafter-described portions of London Boulevard, and it <br />appearing that notice of application and request for the <br />appointment of viewers was duly posted on September 14, 1981, <br />in the Circuit Court of the City of Portsmouth, the General <br />District Court of the City of Portsmouth and the Portsmouth <br />City Hall. <br /> <br /> NOW~ THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, H. P. <br />Crowe, J. R. Wilkerson~ George N. Powers~ Sr., and Clinton <br />J. Fortune be appointed viewers, and that James Moss and <br />C. E. Ellis be appointed alternate viewers in the event <br />one of the preceding viewers fails to participate~ said <br />viewers to view the hereinafter-described portions of London <br />Boulevard and to report to this Council in writing whether <br />in their opinion any, and if any~ what inconvenmence would <br />result in vacating and closing the following: <br /> <br /> Ail that certain lot, piece or parcel of <br />land~ with ate buildings and improvements there- <br />on, situate~ lying and being in the City of <br />Portsmouth, 'Virginia, as shown on a certain <br />survey entitled: "Plat Showing Portion of <br />London Boulevard To Be Closed, Portsmouth, <br />Virginma~ For Mt. Hermon Conservation & Re- <br />development Project, VA., R-69", dated October <br />28, 1981~ revised November 6~ 198i~ prepared <br />by Robert T. Addison & Associates, Ltd., Sur- <br />veying-Engineering, Portsmouth, Virgmnma, a <br />copy of which is attached hereto. <br /> <br /> Adopted by the Council of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, <br />at a meeting held January 12~ 1982. <br /> <br />Teste: <br /> <br />City Clerk <br /> <br /> <br />
