56 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING A USE PE~4IT TO LINDA GRIMES TO OPERATE <br />A DROP-OFF BABY SITTING SERVICE AT 4805 PORTSMOUTH BOULEVARD. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Linda Grimes, lessee, for Bob Jones Realty Company, <br />o%~er, has made application pursuant to ~40-70(b) of the Code <br />of the City of Portsmouth, Virginia, 1973, for the granting of <br />a use permit as hereinafter-described; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the applicant and the Planning Director have <br />done all things required to be done in connection with said <br />application; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended the <br />granting of said use permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Portsmouth, Virginia: <br /> <br />1. That the use for which the use permit is sought: <br /> <br /> (a) Will <br />of persons residing <br />posed use; <br /> <br />not adversely affect the health and safety <br />or working in the neighborhood of the oro- <br /> <br /> (b) Will not be detrimental to the public use or <br />injurious to the property and improvements in the neighborhood; <br />and <br /> <br /> (c) Will be in accord with the purposes of the <br />Zoning Chapter of the City Code. <br /> <br /> 2. Linda Grimes is hereby granted a use permit pursuant <br />to ~40-70(b) of the City Code to operate a drop-off baby sitting <br />service at 4805 Portsmouth Boulevard, such parcel being 0.75 <br />acres and being more specifically described as Tax Plate 443, <br />Parcel 1!. <br /> <br /> 3. This use permit is approved subject to the following <br />conditions: <br /> <br /> (a) Ail applicable building, health and fire codes <br />must be met prior to the issuance of an occupancy permit for <br />the proposed use; <br /> <br /> (~b) The maximum number of children to be cared for <br />at any one time should not exceed twenty-five (25) unless a <br />smaller number is required by the Building official or Fire <br />Marshal. <br /> <br /> <br />
