A.~RESOLUTION APPOINTING VIEWERS FOR THE CLOSING OF A PORTION <br />OF EAIRFAX AVENUE. . <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Portsmouth has made application <br />to vacate, close and discontinue the hereinafter-described <br />portion of Fairfax Avenue, and it appearing that notice of <br />application and request for the appointment of viewers has <br />been duly advertised as required by law. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />City of Portsmouth, Virginia, that A. N. Kendrick, Simon <br />~_~rrington, Richard D. Ottavio, James V. McGhee and Raymond <br />Tweed be appointed vte%ffers, and that J~mes Moss and Clinton <br />J. Fox--tune be appointed alternate viewers in the event one <br />o~_the preceding viewers fails to participate, said viewers <br />to-~iew the hereinafter-described portion of said street and <br />to report to this Council mn writing whether in their opinion <br />and, and if any, what inconvenience would result in vacating <br />and closing the following street: <br /> <br />FAIRFAX AVENUE <br /> <br /> Ail that pOrtion of Fairfax Avenue beginning <br /> on the northern boundary of Portsmouth Boulevard <br /> and extending to the southern bo~uda~q; of Watts <br /> Avenue.
